Vazhayur Grama Panchayat – Budget 2026–27

In the budget for the financial year 2026–27, Vazhayur Grama Panchayat has given priority to infrastructure development, social welfare, healthcare, sanitation, and poverty alleviation. While provisions have been made for employee salaries and administrative expenses, substantial funds have also been allocated for social security pension schemes and women’s safety programmes.

Importance has been given to service sectors such as healthcare institutions, drinking water projects, Anganwadis, housing construction, waste management, and the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). Funds have also been earmarked for infrastructure development works including roads, street lighting, and public buildings.

As the total revenue exceeds the total expenditure, the budget indicates that the Panchayat’s financial position is stable and development-oriented.
