Best Gender Resource Centre for the Year 2024–25
Vazhayur Grama Panchayat emerged as one of the panchayats that achieved remarkable recognition during 2024–25 for successfully implementing outstanding Gender Resource Centre activities. The Panchayat received this recognition for effectively coordinating women’s empowerment initiatives, gender equality awareness programs, women’s welfare activities, and social support schemes. Through the Gender Resource Centre, the Panchayat played a crucial role in creating a safe and supportive social environment for women and children.
